Analyze
- Initial meeting. We set up the intial meeting to
discuss the objectives of the SEO campaign. It is during this meeting
that we look at your competitors sites to get a good understanding of
the competitive landscape. We will discuss timelines and layout a strategy
for the rest of the campaign.
- Review existing site. We take a close look at the
existing site architecture and code to determine if there are any foundational
issues that need to be addressed in order to remove any barriers to
a successful Search Engine Marketing campaign.
- Extensive keyword research. We work closely with
our client to determine the best keywords for their business. We will
perform an analysis of how often certain keyword phrases are searched
for across the search engines and how many other sites are competing
with them for the specific phrase. This is a very important step. We
want to make sure that we don’t target phrases that are too general.
If you target phrases that are too general you will find that they are
both too competitive and less likely to be looking for what you offer.
For instance, if you were a Real Estate agent in Atlanta, you might
want to target Atlanta Real Estate or Atlanta Real Estate agent (or
even Atlanta relocation), but if they were to target the more general
term “real estate” they would be competing with agents around
the world and it is unlikely that the person typing “real estate”
into the search engine was looking for homes in Atlanta. Once we complete
our in-depth research we will present our findings and recommendations
to you for review and final selection.
